Joel Bartlett Architect Inc. designed a new main entrance addition to the Sakura House Hospice and various interior renovations.
Joel was also the project architect for the original hospice facility, completed under the certificate of practice of J. David McAuley Architect Inc.. The project involved the construction of an addition containing the resident rooms, while the existing residence was utilized for various common spaces, administrative, and community programming spaces, all serving the Oxford County area:

- Description: 10 bed hospice addition; 1 storey + partial basement; 655 m2; plus minor alterations/conversion of existing 1,180 m2 home for administrative use and common/programme spaces
- Duties: Lead architect overseeing all project phases, obtaining permits/approvals, contract administration.
