2-storey addition, including 1 storey below-grade parking garage; plus renovation to the existing 50’s modernist church structure; new sanctuary and foyer ‘overflow’ area, licensed daycare (96 children); meeting rooms, kitchen, and offices.
The original sanctuary stained glass windows were removed and were incorporated into the new foyer and sanctuary. The stained glass creates patterns of coloured light throughout the day within the space, as a constant reminder and celebration of the history of the church.
The lower level of the church houses the licensed daycare, including a playground area that looks onto a park.
